I've been watching your VN800 page for quite a while now (cracking website!), and waiting for the opportunity to upload some photos of my bike. Just a bit about myself first:

I returned to biking about 4 years ago after a break of 40 years! I started with a 1969 Triumph Trophy, a lovely classic to look at but crap to ride and I spent more time fixing it than riding it.

I then bought a Virago 535, again a lovely bike but a little under powered and it doesn't have much street cred. About 15 months ago I found my VN800, via the internet, it was 3 years old but had only 900 miles on the clock! Since then I've added loads of extras including chrome side panels, chrome solid rear wheel discs, a small Harley screen (which took some modifying) and rear rack, lots of other bits and some superb GIVI custom hard luggage.

The bike is wonderful to ride, lots of power and smooth as silk with a big comfortable seat (this was a must - as specified by my wife Joan). I've covered quite few miles since then both locally and in France, which is easy to get to from where I live in Deal, Kent. Next year we are hoping to do some touring in Italy, I'll keep you posted with pictures.

Cheers Ron "

This superb 800 is ridden by Ron Dean from the UK.
