"Little Thunder"

Paladin writes:  "Greetings from that motorcycle ridin' Mecca of the World known as Las Vegas.  We average 360 days of sunshine every year, great biking weather for sure.

As far as my bike goes, it's a 1996 VN800B. It's a good solid platform, one that I never hesitate about hopping aboard for a cross-country ride like the one that is coming up next month (May).

The Mustang seat is quite comfortable while the extra pegs mounted on the highway bars allow me to move my legs around a bit and not get cramped.  The windshield, light bar and fender trim all came from Kawasaki while the twin low-restriction exhaust pipes and jetting in the carb came from Cobra.  This system is less than half the weight of the stock system and made a huge difference in the way the bike runs and sounds.  The tires are from Dunlop and really hold the road, either wet or dry.  A pair of drop-on Harley saddlebags and a slip-on tour-pak that goes over the sissy bar allow me to carry my gear into a motel when the days ride is done.  Bonnie, my better half, isn't all that keen on her part of the seat but it's still far more comfortable than the old one was.  It doesn't feel like one is sitting on a 2X4 the way the old seat did.

This is my VN800B, known as "Little Thunder", extras include:

KAWASAKI       Windshield, light bar, highways bars, fender trim + small sissy-bar.
COBRA               Independent twin exhaust pipes + jetting in carb.
MUSTANG         Wider, deeper seat.
DUNLOP             Elite series tires.

This excellent machine is ridden by Paladin USA
