Wayne Clements, and his '99 Vulcan 800

Wayne has provided some further new photos taken last December 2000, take a look below....

Wayne writes : - "This 1999 Vulcan 800 Classic is 15 months old and has been fitted with Kawasaki saddlebags, backrest and windscreen (17" Vulcan model), as well as a set of Vance & Hines Cruzer turnout-style exhaust pipes. The latest addition, the V&H pipes have stopped all the "Is that thing running?" jokes from my fellow Mid-South VRA members. My brother-in-law, who rides a Harley Sportster 883, always started his bike, then asked to make sure mine was running. The day we installed the V&H, he had to double-check to make sure his Sportster was running! No more comments from him. I've been riding for a little over two years. I bought my first bike (a 1996 Vulcan 500) in 1998, rode for a year then traded up for the 800 Classic. It's been a dream ever since. The longest ride I've taken so far has been 5 hours (about 380 miles), but my wife and I have a 1,500-mile journey planned for summer 2001. I hope we're still married afterward ...

I'm located in Southaven, Mississippi, U.S.A. It's just outside Memphis, Tennessee, where Elvis Presley became famous. In a short while I'll be moving back to Tupelo, Mississippi, where Elvis was born (about 95 miles away). None of this Elvis trivia really matters, mind you; I'm not much of a fan, but it is interesting to some. I'm a member of the Vulcan Riders Association (Mid-South Chapter # 1-33).

The bike is a 1999 Vulcan 800 Classic with 9,900 miles in 15 months. As you can see, I love to ride and, I fall in love with this bike every time I ride it".

Here's two newer photos, both taken in December 2000, showing some extra little goodies I've added. All are OEM Kawasaki parts, including the leather fringe on the levers. The odometer rolled past 14,000 miles last week and the bike's less than two years old. Gosh, why can't I have a job that pays me to ride?!?!

This beautiful machine is ridden by Wayne Clements in the US of A.
