The Terminator

The Terminator was released in 1984 and the stars were Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Michael Biehn.

The film is about a cyborg in the future known as the Terminator and he is sent back in time to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor who will give birth to John Connor and a resistance soldier called Kyle Reese is also sent back in time to stop him.

The action in the film is quite exciting and sometimes scary, the best bit is when the Terminator bursts through the door in his car and goes around the police station killing all the cops.

Overall a good action movie and worth watching.

 

Terminator 2

Terminator 2 is the sequel to "The Terminator" and stars in it Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Robert Patrick and Edward Furlong.

Terminator 2 turns Arnold Schwarzenegger from the bad guy into the good guy, the film is set roughly 15 years in the future as Sarah Connor's son has been born and become a teenager played by Edward Furlong in his first major film role.

A new Terminator has come and is very different to the Terminator in the first film as the new Terminator can shape-shift into different people by touching someone or killing them because he can create blunt weapons but not guns and he wants to kill John Connor.

 

There's Something About Mary

In this film it stars Cameron Diaz,Ben Stiller,Matt Dillon, and Lee Evans.

This film was made by the Farrelly Brothers which also made "Kingpin" and "Dumb and Dumber".

It starts in 1985 when Ted meets Mary and they agree to go out to the school prom, but it proves to be a night not to forget for all the wrong reasons, but he goes and sees Pat Healy to ask him to spy on Mary and he wants to be her boyfriend, as does Tucker as well.

There are funny scenes with Mary's flatmate dog and the jokes.

Overall a funny film worth buying or renting for a day.

 

Repossessed

This film is one of the funniest I have ever seen, it is a spoof of "The Exorcist" and in some scenes it does "Star Wars" and  "Rambo".

Linda Blair who plays Nancy Aglet is possessed by the devil in the film and when she is watching TV, the host on the TV mentions the devil she gets possessed and her head spins right round and she throws up pea soup.

At the beginning the house is like the house in "The Exorcist" but the devil in this film is completely bonkers.

One of the scenes in this film is hysterical, it is when Linda Blair changes Leslie Nielsen who plays Father Jedediah Mayii into different people at first she changes him into a nun, then turns him into a rabbi, then she changed him into Ayatollah Khomeini.

Overall one of the funniest spoofs ever.

 

The Matrix

The Matrix in my opinion is one of the greatest sci-fi films ever.

Keanu Reeves plays Neo/Thomas Anderson, a computer worker who does not realize where he is, the place he is in is called "The Matrix" and he bumps into an agent called Agent Smith played by Hugo Weaving.

He meets Morpheus and Trinity who are both some of the good characters in the film.

My favourite scenes are the fight scenes and the gun scenes because some of the special effects in this film are fantastic.

Overall it is one of the best films I have ever seen.
